Why join a union
Belonging to a union gives working people a collective voice at the workplace — the power to solve problems, improve conditions, and be heard on equal footing.
Collective strength
One member alone has little leverage. Together, SACU members negotiate from a position that employers have to take seriously.
Know your rights
Employment law is dense and it changes. We keep members briefed and protected against having their rights quietly eroded.
Representation when it counts
From workplace grievances through to the CCMA and Labour Court, SACU officials represent members with a strong track record.
About SACU
SACU serves the Communications and Information Technology sector, equipped to deal at any level with matters relating to the employment relationship. We have resourced, experienced staff to represent members at the CCMA, Labour Court and Labour Appeal Court.
Our network of negotiators and officials continuously tracks the industry so members get advice grounded in what's actually happening on the ground — not generic labour advice.
